The particular religion with which you have been associating has done little for you.
You beleive Christ to be a liar, don't know much about Bible writers and think its possible Matthew through John was Satan inspired.
We do know who wrote the Bible.
There exists as much proof about Bible writers as there is to prove Napolean, or Julius Caesar, were alive.
Why hasn't your church taught these things?
Christ is quite active these days, as well.
He is overseeing the project mentionned at Matthew 24:14.
Why hasn't your church taught these things?
As for Matthew through John, if they are Satan's children, why did they give up a comfortable, prosperous life for a strenuous life as a follower of Jesus?
Even risking their lives.
Your church has let you down in a big way.

I respect every ones religion. Even though I may not agree in it. But that is what is good about America. The freedom to choose. I have found other religions bashing the non believers in theirs. Here on Y/A. Which I don't think is right. Yes I'm an Atheist and some people say there will be nothing when I die or I will go to hell if I don't believe? Well if that is how it is so be it.

I don't believe in religion. I believe in God, a higher power, a supreme being, whatever you want to call this concept. But religions as a whole have caused more death, destruction and war than any other reason in human history. Each and every person, for the most part, believes that his or her religion is the 'only' religion. Regardless that more tolerant peoples over the globe believe that each person has the moral right to choose which way they want to believe. So called Christians who tell people that their way is the best, Muslims there way is best, etc. I don't recall any Buddhists advocating war, murder or anything else to get people to change to their religion. But it seems the western world has to have a reason to hate everyone who doesn't believe 'their' way. In my opinion, those people should learn what their religions originally taught, to be tolerant of all peoples.

The whole point of religion is to give hope to those who need it. I think that we all should have the right to believe in whatever we want to believe in without having to push those beliefs on others. Religion gives millions of people reassurances about life, but a small minority always spoil if for the large majority.
Personally I think some of the stories in the bible are very good and they were favourites of mine when I was young, not because I am religious just because of what they stood for.
I am an athiest, but I will respect the beliefs of others without rubbishing them.

Just like many atheists here, I have huge problems with organized religion.
But I am a born-again Christian and I know Jesus Christ and He is no liar, and you ought to be more careful with your wording when you're asking about the only begotten Son of God.
As we say, "The religious are afraid of hell; the spiritual have already been there."
You sound neither religious nor spiritual. Quite frankly, you sound rather sad and lonely and empty and maybe even disturbed. I hope one day you may find the only one who can heal you.
And when you're ready, He will be right there waiting for you. Funny thing....He's been there all along.

And I thought this was going to be a serious question. Oh well...here goes. Why not let people believe what they want to believe. If you don't believe in God, keep being an unbeliever. If there is no God, then live your life as you want, without any reservations. But what if there really is a God? Christians are for the most part happy, so let them relish in the belief that there is something better for mankind than what this world offers them.

I think your theory is totally opposite of what I believe. I also think you might like to do some research, as we DO know who wrote the Bible.
Jesus is NOT a liar.
I can easily carry on and believe in Christ.
Have a good day.

Christianity is not a religion. It is a personal relationship with God.
The Bible is very reliable. You do not have any back up that is worth of anything to prove your claims. You have a free will. You still have time to investigate this matter and make the most important decision of your life.

Actually, Richard Dawkins said it far better than I ever could. Be sure to read his book "The God Delusion." And an excellent follow-up is Christopher Hitchens's "god Is Not Great."

Religion is a cognitive crutch that promotes forced ignorance. Galileo showed that the Sun is the center of our solar system, yet the church imprisoned him for the rest of his life for saying that.
