Why wouldn't a person that doesn't believe in God love their fellow human being? I believe it is the Christians like Bush and yourself that believe in the farce of the Iraq War. It is religious people that have started most wars since day one, certainly not the atheists! And what do you care if one believes in God or not? How does it affect you? I don't care what you believe as long as it doesn't harm others. Why don't you start a missionary trip to Afghanistan and try to convert them!

you should try not to be so ridiculously close minded. just because i don't believe in your god doesn't mean i haven't got morals. if you really and honestly hate me because im an atheist, then you are pathetic. seems to me you can hate whoever you want, too. oh, and the crusades never happened. Christians can (and do) choose to hate and war against anyone they please.
EDIT: And jack p, wouldn't that just mean we were right? how, exactly, does one observe his surroundings and find god? i've looked, and there are an infinite number of possibilities as to why things are the way they are. doesn't prove theres a god.

I don't think being an Atheist means that they don't love fellow human beings and that they want war. It just means they don't believe in God. It's funny to me that you just said you don't like Atheists because they hate others, and then you said YOU HATE Atheists. That's pretty hypocritical!

If you "just hate athiests so much", then you have a personal problem, and need to get
help for it. I am a devoted Christian; there
is nothing I put before my relationship with
God, but I certainly don't hate athiests.
I don't hate anybody, and neither
does any other Christian that I know of.
It sounds like you need counciling; I suggest
you get some, because if you are a Christian, then your hate is not going to do anything to assist in the Work of God, nor
will it be beneficial to any other Christian work - or good or anybody, quite frankly.
Get help. We haven't any resentment towards athiests. You do.

The right thing isn't always easy. the right thing to do, is live and let live.
Many people hate religion because evangalistic people preach to them far too much, religion is a life choice, not a forced opinion.
People find strength in many places, some prefer to see science and what they see as actual facts they can see and touch. Others find it by means of religion and faith.
Most religions do ask that you don't show agression or hate toward those who don't follow your path for the very reason it creates hate.
come to terms with that, if you believe in God or not, live and let live.

I don't hate anyone. I know ex-Christians that call themselves atheists. Why would I suddenly hate them? Of course they love their fellow human beings. Resentment has NEVER been part of my view of a non-belief or different belief. You have to remember they're just people, like you, God would want you to treat with the same love and kindness you would another.

It is always easier to take the road of easy and less Resistance.
As one who believes, but does not belong to a organized religious faith, I hate no one, they sadden me, upset me, but my course is set. I believe to have my God in my heart, I can throw no stone at a non believer, they are entitled to there opinions. They do not hurt me with not believing and you either believe or you don't.
I have seen as many terrible things done in God's name.
So even a believer can do evil , and I think it's worse because they drag God's name along with them.
The Church, any Church that claims other religous factions will go to hell if they do not convert, is wrong and I will not be a part of that. To me God is about, love, tolerence, loving my fellow man, and forgiveness.
But I don't see much of that in any organized religion today.
So why would someone want to believe, I'm off here. I'm all worked up! Love and peace to all!

You as a human, can choose to do whatever you want. I am no atheist, however I'm not religious either...
Believing in god is one thing. But a true religous person could see that being a better person is more important.
Why do you hate atheists?

In some ways, yes. However, when you let the love of God flow through you it becomes easy.
When you see your enemies as hurting humanity it helps you to love them.
The bible says that "the way of the transgressor is hard".
"Hate atheists", "resent atheists" ? Why? What a waste of time that would be and so anti God. His commandments "Love God and love others [including atheists].
Easiest path? Christianity! Especially after death!
