when it goes outside follow closely but unobtrusively and when it goes near the road speak to it in a harsh voice..maybe pick a word..that you will always use then pick it up and take it how far back you want it from the road. keep doing this until it gets the point.

There is no way to train it. The best idea is to keep it indoors, or put a cat-proof fence around your garden. Some cats learn to be careful with traffic and avoid main roads, but many get hit by cars. And definitely a small kitten cannot manage to be safe. If you do let it in the garde, you must do so when she is grown up, and gradually, taking her out under supervision to see the situation while you are holding her.

No it is not possible. Cats and roads don't mix, especially young cats who like exploring often get knocked down. If you are getting a kitten you would either have to keep it in a secure garden, like the post about safe cat fencing or keep it indoors and let it out on a leash. Some cats learn the hard way to avoid roads but it is a danger to drivers and themselves, and heartache for you.

1) 6 weeks is too young for the kitten to be away from the mother. Wait till the kitten is 8-12 weeks old.
2) no cat let alone kitten should be outside unattended period.
Haven't you ever heard of leash laws, the apply to cats to. Please be a responciable cat owner and wait till the kitten is at LEAST 8 weeks old and you make the kitten an indoor kitten.

We have four cats and the only training we have been successful in is getting them to use the litter box. Cats are not territorial as are dogs, so staying close to home is not an option. For instance, you can train a dog not to leave a yard, or even go outside the house. But a cat will always seek freedom to go wherever he/she wants. That's why our cats are house cats.

No; a kitten that young should be indoors. For that matter, a cat that lives indoors will live longer, be healthier, and in general be a better pet. If you can't provide a good home for a cat, then I would urge you to consider some other animal more suiting your situation.

Those kittens are super cute. Toffee has to be a little trouble maker I can see it in the eyes lol. Sounds like you already have alot of advice but I would try leaving a poop in the litter box and putting the kittens in the litter box and scratching their feet in it. Good luck!!

keep it inside then it isnt a problem
train it with a collar and lead same as any other animal.
all cats should be collard
so attach a lead to that when the animal is out side
