Paul was not just picked by Jesus to be an apostle, he was picked by the heavenly Jesus.

He was very instrumental in bringing light and understanding about the new christian religion to the growing numbers that chose to follow it.

He was good about making the Jewish converts to Christianity understand what parts of the Jewish system they could bring with them into their new faith.

The list goes on.

He was not one of the 12 apostles, so he is already under a dark cloud when he states in his letters that he is an apostle. But apparently, so many people liked what he was saying, that they just accepted that he was an apostle!

He has a very dark background and appears to be responsible for the stoning of Saint Stephen. It is quite possible that he reformed himself, but rather unlikely that he became a Saint.

I don't think this was intentional on his part, but I think Paul and those who supported him are the ones who brought about the cover up of the Original Kingdom Gospel... and there is considerable evidence to back up this claim in this on line resource...

I don't believe in Apostle Paul. I believe in Jesus the Christ. I do on the other hand believe that he was a fellow servant of the way. I believe that he was honest and trustworthy and did all he could do to get others to see the truth of our Savior Jesus. I feel that he was a good man and a true disciple of my Lord. I commend his efforts and pray that like him I will be able to stand the test of time.

I believe in him, yes. Why? Because God's word the Bible speaks of him. He wrote fourteen epistles found in the Bible upon which professed Christians base their doctrines and beliefs. If I rejected Paul, I would have to reject all fourteen of his letters. That is over half of the 27 books of the New Testament. On what basis would I do that?

I only believe In Christ. I do believe what the Apostle Paul wrote. I trust what he wrote because he was once an avid executioner of Christians until the Holy Spirit convicted him of his sin and he turned to Christ. His stance for Christ was so strong he ended up in prison and in exile. He led many to Christ.

I read that he was really a Gnostic but he was so popular that the 'literal' Christians tried to warp his words to make him one of theirs. I haven't looked into it a whole lot but I do know that he is said to have stated something about 'I will not suffer a woman to teach' but he's also recorded as discussing religion with women a lot. Since discussion implies learning and teaching new ideas, I'm inclined to believe he was used.

He is the real founder of Christianity and not Jesus.
