They (you know, "them") should take away Glaus' 2002 WS MVP Award and give it to the man who deserved it.
It was one of the most glaring and obnoxious manifestations of the idiotic meme that demands "value" comes only from the winning team. Glaus had a good Series, but there was a Giants player who utterly destroyed the Angels despite them overcorrecting their playing style to try and neutralize or at least reduce his overwhelming effectiveness.
Glaus didn't deserve it.
Give it back, 'roidsboy. Have the baseballs to do for your fellow player what the handful of mediots charged with naming an MVP knew they should have done yet abrogated the responsibility for recognizing officially.
Because records are as nothing, NOTHING, next to championships.
Hey, there's a thought -- vacate the championship!

Barry Bonds brought all of this on himself. He has been an arrogant a** since the day he entered the league, and peoples dislike of him goes back way before any steroid controversy. His arrogance in thinking he will get away with steroid use and not have to pay the consequences is what people really dislike about him!

I'm pissed at the both of them, but Bonds is worse because of his intent. Bonds doesn't give two craps about his team. He took them for himself so he can break records and be the biggest superstar ever.
Now don't get me wrong, they are both despicable, just one more despicable than other. Rick Ankiel is 'one of them', regardless of his intent and I will bash him any chance I get. This incident doesn't make me forget about Barry though. I will never stop bashing Barry until he is thrown in jail. Barry doesn't deserve a "break".

im tired of all these things that have been goin on. its obvious that pretty much everyone today in all sports are cheaters. im not sayin everybody did it because there are sstill those real players who play the game the right way but all records have no point to them now because they have all been ruined. and the sad thing is that what these people are doing is killing them and they still do it. for what a stupid record! i dont know what would you choose your life or a record. let them kill themselves if they want. its just sad i think. and the thing about bonds that i hate is not that hes a cheater but his attitude. he is a big @$$hole who is a jerk. just lookin at him makes you wanna punch him in his face. would it kill him to be a litle nice at least to kids. thats what gets me about him. i could care less about the records anymore.

Just because people are not talking about Bonds at the moment doesn't mean they have changed their minds about him. He is still a liar and a cheater and should be thrown out of baseball.

your logic is flawed...you want people to hate a nice guy who did something awful as much as a nasty guy who did essentially the same awful thing...sorry...Barry is still hated most by far.
