what is your favorite endangered species?
i know it's a strange question, but it's a survey for school.
this is the list:
giant panda
leopard
turtle
orangutan
siberian tiger
gorrilla
oh and can i have a pic of the 1 you choose please and tell me why they are endangered?

turtle- I especially like sea turtles. They're so graceful and its shame that so many are killed each year. My favorite endangered animal isn't on your list, the manatee. They're one of the coolest creatures on the earth andone of the oldest marine mammals.

There were once eight tiger subspecies, but three became extinct during the 20th century. Over the last 100 years, hunting and forest destruction have reduced overall tiger populations from hundreds of thousands to perhaps 5,000 to 7,000. Tigers are hunted as trophies and also for body parts that are used in traditional Chinese medicine. All five remaining tiger subspecies are endangered, and many protection programs are in place. Poaching is a reduced—but still very significant—threat to Siberian tigers.

Aww choose just one? Well I'd have to go with turtles because I have one and there interesting to watch, and as for telling you why there endangered wouldnt that basically be doing your assignment for you? It's not that hard to find out why these animals are endangered, just try looking on google or maybe on wikipedia, google usually helps me out alot so just type in something like Endangered Giant Pandas/Leopards/Turtles etc. Good luck with your assignment

The Mountain Gorilla. Poaching these animal, and all other animals for that matter, makes me sick. But it just seems that the killing of these animals has a far higher impact on the species due to their current populations. Due to conservation efforts, their numbers have stabilized, but habitat destruction, as well as poaching has still caused great problems for this incredible mammal's survival.
The Giant Panda comes in a close second!!!!!
But let me ask you......
How can you rate an animal's existence?
I know I have just done this but.....really....What makes one more favorable to us than the others?
Something to think about!!!!!

Almost inpossible for me to answer, but it wouldn't be any of the monkeys or apes. I can only tie the siberian tiger, leopard and panda. They are all awesome animals, and I can't imagine the world without either of them.

Siberian tigers. Because lots of people like to adopt them and won't let them live in wild life. Plus they're having sex all the time.

Orangutans are gentle and intelligent.(unlike viscious chimpanzees) Unfortunately human expansion and poor farming are quickly robbing the orangutan of his ever smaller home.

Siberian Tiger..they are mainly endangered due to habitat loss as well as poaching. It is believed that their penis acts as an aphrodisiac and this is one of the reasons they are killed.
