I think the PS3 is the best system out of any the three game systems because of
A) Free online, which is also improving quite a bit
B) Is somewhat cheaper than the Xbox 360
PS3: -----------Xbox 360:
60gb PS3-$500 -----------Xbox 360 Elite (120gb)- $450
HDMI slot-Free---------HDMI slot- Only with Elite
Wifi-Free ----------Wifi- $99
Rechargeable Controllers-Free --------Recharge Kit- $20
Online-Free -----------Online- $50 a year
Blu-Ray Player-Free---------------HDDV... Player- $179
Total: $500 ----------------Total: $798
You might not use these accessories, so that’s why I say the PS3 is “somewhat cheaper”
Also why I said you have to get an Elite to compare it to the PS3 is because the elite is the only 360 console that has HDMI, which basically means it’s the only package that can get you true High-Def.
C) Has great exclusives out/coming out and all of these are different variety:
Heavenly Sword, Lair, Eight Days, Warhawk, Metal Gear Solid 4, Metal Gear Online, Killzone 2, Grand Turismo 5, Little Big Planet, Getaway 3, Driver 5, God of War III, Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Jax and Daxter: Lost Frontier, Motorstorm, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, Resistance: Fall of Man, SOCOM: Confrontation, Tekken 6, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, and White Knight Story. That’s all the games I can think of over 5 minutes.
PS: Many of the great games are not exclusives anyway, so exclusives are not that important to me
Ok, now onto the boring stuff…
D) The PS3 is superior due to cell technology. This allows the PS3 to produce complex graphics far superior to any other console. The PS3 has a little over 2tfps and the Xbox 360 has 1. This basically means how well the system can do generating backgrounds like rain, clouds, etc. It also has to do with the amount of realism in graphical explosions and destruction scenes. The down side is however that it will be a while until game producers can max its potential because the cell processor is somewhat new in technology. That’s why games on the Xbox 360 look somewhat better right now. However, in about a year or two the PS3 will have better graphics. This is somewhat good too because then Sony wont have to make another console as soon because the PS3 has room to grow with technology, but then again nobody knows what technology can do in 5 years.
E) PS3 will probably be the better quality as in life span. Many Xbox 360s are already having hardware problems (25%-33% Xbox 360 have 3 red rings of death) when there has only been a reported 1% failure chance with the PS3. PS3 also has an emergency shut down feature, so if you PS3 overheats it will automatically shutdown until it is out of a dangerous temperature.
F) The PS3 as Blu-Ray. The Blu-ray disc can hold up to 50gb allowing game developers to develop a longer game, better graphics, etc. The Xbox 360 only uses its game on classic DVD discs, which can only hold around 8 or 10gb depending on what type of DVD. Theres nothing wrong with this, but as games get more complex the more space they take up, so I wouldnt be surprised if games are 2 discs for the xbox 360 in the future.
Finally! We’re done with technology and hardware talk, but as you can see this shows how well the PS3 is designed.
Final Conclusion: Xbox 360 has great games and isnt a bad system, but the extra 100 bucks are worth getting the ps3.

ok. let's make this more fun. I will do an IMITATION of a retard:
(retard speaks): get the xbox 360 man. it is better because it was made in 2005 and ps3 was made in 2006, so xbox 360 is older than ps3. that means it could beat it up. also, xbox 360 has a breaking rate of 33%, and ps3 only has 0.3% breaking rate!! 33% is a bigger number than 0.3%, so xbox 360 could beat up ps3 in that too. also, it's fun to see the green light on the xbox 360 turn to to red because that makes TWO different colors on it. PS3 doesn't have any colors like that! so that's why I got a xbox 360. if only I knew how to play it. O, wait! I do know how to play it because I am a retard! yay!
thank you for taking the time to read my playscript of a retard. I hope it answered your question.

I have both, 360 has great titles what are new, PS3 lags in this department but eventually releases them a couple of months after xbox. Both Graphics are great!! PS3 is fantastic on High Def TV. Xbox 360 cooling fans sound like helicopters in full use, PS3 are much more silent... The browser on the PS3 is also quite good.
Overall both are very good XBOX is Cheaper...
I find PS3 has more potential even though it is more expensive and titles are slower.
Therefore I would recommend a PS3 as I have had no problems with this machine, XBOX can overheat and crash with prolonged use!!

As a fellow Utd fan i've got a PS3. Just can't imagine playing Pro Evo. on any other controller.
Don't know where the other guys coming from with the sales and faults, but month on month the're both fairly similar globally and the only console with a significant fault is the 360 and its red ring of death.
Personally, i think you get what you paid for, which is why though the PS3 costs more, it's also more complete (blu-ray installed, which will help games in the future), more robust, free online service, ..
Not to mention their are some pretty decent games out and on the way.....

PS3 is the only system you can download games for PS and PC, and is the only system you can Run like a computer, using Windows vista and Microsoft Programs, sad reality considering Xbox was created BY microsoft. Also can be made into a Photoshop studio. unlike any other system. And as far as game play goes. well we all know there are More quantity and better quality games for Playstation then Xbox. not to meantion PS, PS2, PS3, and PSP games can work on PS3, while only Xbox360 games work on xbox360. Going on line costs money on Xbox, Playstation online is free. so... Xbox.. its Junk.

XBox360...As a year's advantage over Wii and PS3, has the supposedly "hottest" game which is Halo 3. Equally good graphics and storage as PS3.
Don't go for the PS3. Right now, it's FAILING miserably in the market. Some PS3s have overheated do to the BluRay disc player. Also, there is still a battle between BluRay and HD DVDs, and if you ask me HD DVDs are slightly on top. If that happens, you're BluRay player may become useless.

Xbox 360
It is far better value for money with the Premium going for only £250 usually with games bundled in with it.
It has alot more games avaliable for it and all this christmases big releases are going to be on Xbox 360, some even exclusive to it. For example Mass Effect and Halo 3

I strongly prefer the PS3 by far because the graphics are amazing and so are the games plus it is a bit like a wii because you can tilt the controller and it will steer and you can use it like a wii remote as well as a PS3 remote it is awesome!
