Because the white house is being run by the political arm of the Republican party, that has been taken over by ideologues like Perle, Cheney, Wolfowitz, ad nauseum. Actually, he was DEFEATED by both Gore and Kerry. Recounts carried out in Florida AFTER the partisan supreme court gave the election to bush proved that Florida should have gone to Gore in 2000. Ohio's vote process in 2004 was so rife with election fraud that the electoral votes from there should never have been accepted. We haven't heard the last of this outrage to the United States. Bush's presidency is a fraud.

The popular vote actually was Al Gore and counting of votes in Florida helped when it was another Bush's official who changed positions right after the recounts etc.

Well, I voted for Bush twice. I am not too impressed with his leadership. I don't think that I am a moron though. My votes were really against Gore and the Kerry. At least there are those of us who realize that he has screwed up. The Dem's will put an under qualified shrew like Hillary in office, and then swear she's the Messiah no matter how badly she governs (and she will).

I should think that it is because he still has some months of his term in office to run. Unfortunately, starting an illegal war is not an impeachable offence apparently.

Because he is not much different than our own Prime Minister in Australia. They Lie, Cheat and Steal their way into the voters confidence to win elections. Our PM has run out of time, the same as yours. The old saying. "You can Cheat some of the people some of the time"
