Have this condition where everyone in the world hears/receives your thoughts, like in telepathy. Also, you don't, or ever so rarely receive other's thoughts yourself.
What would be the reason for people to lie to you and say it's not happening, like to deny the existence of telepathy?
Could it be a government conspiracy, or law? What would be the reason?

Fear.
People fear the unknown, in this case telepathy. Everyone would think that you would read their mind and take away the one place that they can be private - their thoughts.
People think weird things and for you to invade their most inner thoughts provokes fear.

I think if telepathy were real, it would be commonplace for everyone to acknowledge that it existed and we would all just communicate through our thoughts without having to speak.
