Lampard gets paid too much and knows he'll never get dropped so he has no motivation to play well. He's a selfish player looking for easy glory and definately shouldn't be in the England team.

are you talking about the warm up tour with the A team against England ? well i think its a good idea what India are doing as you don't want England to have an early look at India's spinners and Englands exposure to what is likely to be their biggest challenge during the Test series. plus ithink they should hold of Yadav till the test cos i think he could do some damage to england as not many have seen him the next positive is they are playing these guys in the warm up Irfan Pathan, Ashok Dinda, R Vinay Kumar and Parvinder Awana and im hoping Dinda or someone els will do realy well and get put into the main squad ,England say this is even harder and more important than an ashes series Engalnd can chose not to bowl Finn and Broad if they dont want to expose there best bolwers to the A team

Lets not forget when Lampard first broke into the team he was an exceptional player but thats because he had to fight for his place with the likes of Scholesy
now he takes his place for granted and knows he'll be in the team no matter how he plays a short spell out of the team might motivate him to hit top form again
On form & when available Carrick & Gerrard have to start

There's opinion - usually club biased - and there s fact. Yesterday's 3-0 was fact. Let us see what happens on Wednesday with more serious opposition.
Certainy we do not need any more prima donnas in the dressing room (now that Becks has gone). There was a good team spirit there yesterday.
A few more games without Frank L and let the facts speak for themselves.
Certainly Stevie G wanted to play for England. He wasn't just doing us a favour.

England play good if Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard play...but they cant play together, so it is better is one of them are in the field and one of them r in the bench, Lampard and Gerrard r the top 3 midfielders of England...Gerrard is first, Lampard second and Beckham third...it was the fault of McLaren to subsitute Beckham wen England played Portugal in world cup...and England witnessed the injury of Owen...so if Owen, Beckham, Gerrard, Lampard and Terry wud have played together they wud have scored 1-0 in last min...forget Wayne Rooney he is a crybaby

Definately. Gerrard is more free to express himself going forward without lampard playing. I dont think that lampard is that good anyway, but england certainly look better when he isn't available. The longer he is out the better!

fat frank, lol. Even with broken toe Stevie G plays better without Lumpalard. All Frank can do is get his weight behind each shot he takes and then hope that shot takes a deflection off some defender. Lumpalard is taking up all the space in midfield

In the Spain there wasn't an appropiate translation for the title 'Bend It Like Beckham' and they called the film 'I want to be like Beckham' and that's Lampard's problem, since Beckham left England, he (and his partner) want to be the new Becks in the social world, so he's too distracted to play football because he's thinking in the next celebrity party he will attend.

"Frank Lump Of Lard" ???? LOLOLOL
Dunno really. What I DO know is that I did not recognize the England team of last night. They actually played a game worth watching. My 9-yr old and I nearly lost our voices. THREE-nil !!!
Euro-2008 here we come !!! England needed that confidence boost badly.. Now we're ready for Russia !!

i think lamapard would play better with out gerrard as well,
but you would need a manager with a back bone to drop one when there both fully fit.
shame england need a few injuries to play well.
