I once showed my puppy a $20 bill. The bugger grabbed it from my hand, ran outside with it, and buried it under a bush.
Here's a picture of it. Isn't he cute!?

My rabbit took "possession" of a family member's glasses. He flung them off with his teeth (didn't hurt or bite, of course), and threw them away. Then he took them up again and ran away with them.
He loves to shove a porcelain bowl near the edge of the table so he can sit in the center. He's a really egotistical rabbit!
:o)

The oddest thing that my German Shepard has taken possession of is a group of baby birds. He cared for them from when they were first born. He actually chased away their real mother when she came to retrieve them. Real Weird

Our cat likes to take socks, slippers and just about anything it can carry. One day I went to clean the "cat bathroom" and found a pair of my sons underwear in the cat box!! lol
When he was a kitten and just learned he could jump onto the kitchen counters, he stole an entire bag of bagels! I found them chewed behind the family room chair. The bag of bagels was bigger then him!!!

She carries around my shoes when I am at work. Never chews them anymore, but its a hunt for dress shoes somedays.
The weirdest was a large electrical plug that she woke me up with , hanging out of her mouth. I was a big plug so I knew it was expensive......... vacuum.

I had a cat a few years back that, before he was neutered, took a liking to this stuffed monkey I had. And by liking, I mean...Yeah...He would carry it around my apartment in his mouth, set it down, hump it, then drag it to his food bowl and drop it's face in it. Very odd cat, I miss him.

It started to stink in our outdoor kitchen and we found a stash of animal skeletons. Apparently, our dog had been digging in our backyard and he steals our neighbor's trash.
