I actually have a special bin in my apartment for recyclable bottles. Since I drink a lot of bottled water this amounts to 3-4 full trash bags every 2-3 months. Beyond that, I will look for a recycling bin if I have something to dispose of, but I won't go out of my way to recycle something - in other words, I won't throw it in my car to put in a recycling bin later.

Yep - we are really lucky as our council collects our recycling fortnightly and actually does glass collections once every 3 weeks as well. All food waste (peelings etc) goes into compost bins that we have. And at work we have just introduced a recycling scheme where all the waste paper gets recycled.

Actually, YES I do. I didn't really care one way or another when the town first implemented this like ten years ago. But now that I have been doing it I find I get ticked off if I find plastic or metal in the garbage.

I recycle paper, cardboard, plastic and cans etc. I recycle glass when i remember to take it to the recycling centre, its quite out of the way but i try to do it as often as possible.

I recyle.....my food,in one end out the other.But on a more serious note,yes I do recycle all plastic,paper and cans.I'm always nagging my family about putting their waste stuff into the recycle boxes.

We do.Aluminum can. Since we both me and my husband drink we save all of our beer cans .Right now we get $0.60 per pound.Usually when i take three 33 gallon trash sacks full of cans to recycle i get about $12.00.Every penny help in this day and age.

I recycle paper, plastic, glass, metal cans, cardboard boxes, electronics, junk mail and plastic bags. I compost. I refill my ink cartridges. When asked if I want paper or plastic bags I ask for paper and when I return to the store, I ask them to reuse my paper bags for my new purchases
