She might not ever get a period on depo provera. OR she could spot at very odd times. OR she could bleed for months on end.
Frankly I would get her OFF that shot asap. Too many women have too many serious health risking side affects from the shot.

I was on it for four years and I'm so glad I'm off of it.
Please thoroughly research this shot before getting the next one!

every woman has a diffrent reaction to the depo injection, normaly though with most women the contraceptive injection stops the period altogether. she will then have to return for another jab every 3 months.
i would not worry, she should have been given leaflets before she chose to have it, so if you are concerned which is acctually nice for a male to be..lol ask her if she has the lealets and read them through for your self... or google it im sure the internet has a wealth of information on it.

When you're on the depo shot you don't get your period. You'll probably have some spotting especially at first, but you won't get a regular period.

Most girls dont get there period when ther on the depo shot, which is pretty lucky for them!
If she is concerned, take her to the doctor to put her mind at ease!
