George Bush is for "democracy" in the USA because it suits his political ambitions. He is also probably pro-democracy in other countries, because that way the USA has potentially more allies.
However, George Bush is decidedly anti-democracy on an international scale, as in the United Nations or international diplomacy, and that strikes me as a touch hypocritical.

Well lets see. He is the only leader in the world who took the initiative to remove two repressive governments from power. Now the rest of the world was profiting from these two governments so they are howling.
Democracy takes many forms. Yes Bush is for democracy.

Since Bush did say: "If this were a dictatorship, it'd be a heck of a lot easier - just so long as I am the dictator,"
I would say that he is against democracy.

Since one of the tenants of democracy is "political pluralism," you might want to pose this question to the Presidential candidates from the Democratic Party.

I dont think Bush has a handle with anything right now.
I think he is just waiting to get out of office.
I honestly believe he didnt want to get re-elected
I saw dread on his face when he got another 4 years
at the national conventions .

We'll find that out if he decides to invade Iran despite the fact there's no political will for it in the United States whatsoever.

Well, he did say that "God" told him to become President. Doesn't sound like a democracy to me! %66 or more people in America disagree with the WAR in IRAQ, but we still have troops there.

why wouldnt the president be. the problem most liberals face today is they dont understand war doesnt need to be politcally correct to be necesary or popular. al qaeda could care less if you wall want to join hands and sing kumbayah..they want you dead and dont care how. bush is doing his job as commander to keep this country safe. if you stop reading the pelosi press releases and simply consider the facts of jihad and al qaeda this should make sense to you.
