he made the accusation that Italy had bought the referee in an olympic qualifying match for sydney 2000 against France, which domenech was coaching

UEFA asked for proof and he couldn't provide it so was banned for 1 match

He said something about referees being bought. A reference to the Match fixing scandals which plague Italy.
