People have physical urges that need to be sated..Outlawing the patronization of sex workers just drives these customers into the pockets of crime kingpins and deprive the state of the right to tax a lucrative trade.

Yes, it's silly. Americans are slaves to Christian morality

I think it's silly. If it were legal (disregarding moral issues) than protection requirements and disease tests could be controlled. Prostitutes would not die because nobody knew or cared about them. But also, I noticed that most peoples hands reach their crotch making sex unnecessary. Prostitutes are responsible for themselves.

Okay, let me get this straight. You are saying that it is okay to promote premarital sex, adultry, drug use, and STDs? I suppose that you are saying that they should be able to advertise on TV and radio then too. Something like, 'Come on down to Whores R Us. Our gals have the best snatch for miles around.' PLEASE!

It is legal in Nevada, but that doesn't mean that the crime is any better, the drug use is down, nor the STDs are down. Yes, they are required by law to use condoms, but people do things that are illegal all of the time. Are you going to post an officer in the bedroom of every prostitute? While you are at it are you going to post a lab tech to check for diseases and someone to check to see if they are married or not?

GET REAL!!!!

I think our government tries to fight too many battles and they are loosing. I think legalizing prostitution and regulating it like in Las Vegas could be beneficial to slowing down the spread of AIDS and other diseases. Legalizing marijuana would free up law enforcement to focusing on harder drugs.
