Depends on the circumstances

2007-09-08 21:27:31 · answer #1 · answered by labelapark 6 · 3 0

Really, It Depends On The Person You Are And Your Views And The Topic At Hand.

If It's Something Emotionally Charged, Most People Use An Indirect Approach To The Task, Such As Giving Off Small Hints Or Tidbits.

Now If The Person Knows That They Can't Succeed At What They're Trying, Some People Give Up, While Others Choose To Challenge The Problem Regardless.

There's A Great Proverb That Goes With This Topic.
"What Would You Be Willing To Try If You Knew You Wouldn't Fail?" If You Think About That, It Not Only Makes You Think, It Boosts Your Confidence And Will To Challenge More Things.

I'd Have To Say I Personally Am A More Direct Approach Person, Though At Times I've Been Known To Use Indirect Approaches To Things Laid Before Me.

I Hope That Has Been Helpful To You. =]

It differs with the situation. I mostly tackle things with an angle.

You take them head on because you're going to face the problem head on eventually even if you take it from a different angle.

head on with a touch of diplomacy when required Eg: I answered a question on here which turned out to be not fully correct and I received a "E" mail from a person who called me a moron. Now if that was me I would have given him the correct answer with the references to back it up and instead of causing that person to immediately dislike me. Just because I had been been taught an answer which is wrong does not necessarily mean that I am a moron I was quite happy to know that I was wrong I have looked up the answer and have learn ed something one wonders who benefited from that encounter

Why tackle them. Let them go past. They are obviously going the wrong way to me. Tackling hurts.
