Plain speakers can be good but also bad
i prefer a diplomatic speaker, if diplomatic is the right word,
someone who thinks before they speak about the consequences of what they are about to say, if they may cause pain unnecessarily or not

There is such a thing as being a plain speaker who uses diplomacy. You can directly say what you have to say while simultaneously couching it in kindness.
I like people who express what they're thinking, but at the same time do not hurt people.

I am a plain speaker ... and have very few friends...âº
I offer no comfort to the deluded... sorry just can't
but i'm so charming with it .... that people still end up liking me..
dR bad
they just don't wanna be my friend... lmao
Ps. Broad, but hard shoulders... not built for comfort or sympathy...

I'm with you - a straight-down-the-middle no nonsense kinda stuff. I don't understand people who nancy about. Of course, you have to be able to be tactful, or you run the risk of sounding arrogant, insensitive and downright nasty! (And that takes a bit of practice....)
