I mean do you think yhey will be able to build cities that have oxygen supplied etc. I think it might be possible one day but not for a very long time yet

My opinion is that the moon will be a permanent abode to only those required to run the station. I think that the moon will be used as a staging point for travel to other places more suitable for habitation. I think that it will take a different means of propulsion to travel back and forth to the moon from the earth than will be requried for interplanetary travel and that the moon will be a logical spot to transfer modes of transport.

You are right it may be a year or two before we have the technology although we have the concepts now. It takes time and a reason urgent enough to get 'er done. Motivation will be when the earth's environment changes drastically enough for us to need to take space travel seriously as a means of survival for the human race. OR perhaps another reason will arise that we haven't even thought of yet.

why would anybody want to
you could never go and play outside
and the scenery sucks
