Oh! For crying out loud - the McCann supporters can't see the wood for the trees (like WILLSY above) . Face facts - 1. Their stories don't add up - 2. Gerry McCann is noted to have said 'We are not religious' - then he's off to the Pope in devine worship. 3. MOST IMPORTANTLY - They hire a car 25 DAYS after the child disappears and her BLOOD is found in that car - BY BRITISH FORENSIC OFFICERS! 4. Funny how Kate McCann carried that soft toy around for weeks and then suddenly decides to wash it, thus removing any forensic evidence.

So, ask yourself, why would and how could, the Portuguese police plant blood stains in a car that they had no knowledge the McCanns were going to hire.

The whole thing smacks and stinks - if it were your child WILLSY - would you not be tearing your hair out trying to find her and be so emotional that you would be seen by the public to be that way.

THINGS do NOT add up here

In my opinion (before anyone starts we are ALL entitled to our opinion) there has been something not right about what has been going on with the dissapearance of Maddie, and i believe that the parents do know something and are not letting on.
Regardless if they are or are not involved in the dissapearance of Maddie they are both guilty, as they should not have left those kids on their own.
In my book leaving those kids alone is a cardinal sin, and i hope that the images of Maddie haunt them for the rest of their lives.
Just goes to show that Intelligence doesn't come with common sence, both of them are disgusting selfish people and if there is such a place as hell they both deserve to rot there.

Al.... (please excuse any pelling mincestakes)

Er- Willsy - read the question again...
the asker was thinking of the word "they're" when he made his typo. Not "their" or "there".
However, I would have said, "thought htey said they would never leave without Maddie".

To answer the question, I think the McCanns are running scared now. Whether they're innocent or guilty of Madeleine's disappearance, they feel they are being hounded in Portugal now, think they would be safer back home in the UK. It remains to be seen what sort of reception they will get back here....

No proof,no proof,no proof. They are certainly guilty of neglect leading to the abduction but anything further is pure conjecture. In view of the latest developments the fund that was set up should be frozen until the truth comes out.

Oh dear willsy!

You were right to say it's not 'there', but it's not 'their' either.

Think about it... They don't own 'never'.

Try 'they're' - a shortened version of 'they are'.

But if you want to be really picky, it should've said 'I thought they said they were never leaving without Maddie!'.

I know that sentence could be written better, but I didn't want to change the words too much, to illustrate the point.

Oh well - to err is human! I forgive you. ;)

Were you there and saw them do it? they are going to have a problem proving their innocence there or here as many have believed them guilty all along. Let the police do their job, the British Police should have been brought in from day one, as the Portuguese police obviously didn't have the tools to do the job.

Innocent, innocent, innocent.

Until proven guilty in a court of law.

That's how the law works.

Let's at least wait and see if the McCanns are charged with anything.

I don't know why the Portuguese police are bothering to investigate - they could just ask you what happened. Then there'd be no need for a trial either, you could just burn them at the stake.

Either someone`s framing them or they really did this, they tought they would get compention or something. However how did this story get this popular, even JKR helped! (They didn`t give me a bookmark but I read it on mugglenet) Maybe there is more to investigate, or maybe the parents got someone to kidnap the child or maybe the abducter injured the child to let out blood and put it deliberatly in the parents` car.

There is evidence but maybe even the parents were kidnapped.

If you believe this media hype created by a desperate and beleaguered police force then you are fool. Better hang anyone than no one = is that your philosophy.

If it's true that they drugged the child to go out and enjoy themselves then they are the most despicable people and do not deserve people's sympathy.
