Yes, I have actually. I've been doing this since I was a rascally
Rug-rat. ( - :

I quite often go down South, with my friends at just 5 minutes notice, with nothing but the clothes on our backs. I'm not kidding! My first experience going away at a minutes notice was when I was ten (I'm 27 now) and angry at my Mum, I''d decided to run away.....

My brother, a friend and I, influenced by our youth and naivety, packed our nap-sacks with sandwiches and Coca-cola,and a change of clothes (the essentials of course...). and simply took off. We didn't consider the fact that we only had supplies to last about a day... All we cared about was our freedom.

We were excited beyond belief, not knowing what surprise was around the corner. We had no idea where we were going - we simply put one foot in front of the other and anticipated the unexpected.

We thought this freedom meant we could do whatever we wanted - no parents, no school, stay up late and eat ice-cream and sweets for break, lunch and dinner.

But, suddenly our journey was cut short when the Police rocked up, piling us into the patrol car and promptly delivered us safely back to our frantic parents.

We were VERY excited now - riding in the back of a Police van was an even better adventure than actually running away!

Since experiencing the thrills of just doing, without thinking or planning an outing or Vacation, I've never looked back. I'd rather spend the time it takes to plan a timetable, list and schedule a waste of time - After all, the time it takes to plan and research a Vacation is better spent relaxing in the hot sand or sipping wine samples at the destinations Vineyard!

A planned holiday is always Stressful, leads to failed expectations and ultimately can be quite boring. It's certainly not the relaxed break you''d love. No commitment to be anywhere at a certain time, or even emerge from bed if you sleeping is your idea of heaven. Go wherever your mood takes you. This way, you REALLY will enjoy your time away. ALLOW yourself a chance to have the relaxing, enjoyable time you obviously so desperately need, to re-recuperate from a hectic and Work load. The only planning you have to do is deciding that you are going on vacation in the first place -
Have a good one! ((( - :

The best way to enjoy a vacation is to just " wing it ". To h*** with plans. They just get in the way...
