I don't have a boss right now, but if I did, I'd ask him for raises if my responsibilities increased and stress levels changed.

You grab him by the shirt collar, jerk him up out of his overpriced chair at his overpriced desk, hold a 38 special to his head and say "Listen man, you give me a 10% raise by my next paycheck, or the next time I come in here, this will be loaded!!" If that doesn't work, maybe talk to someone above him.....
