I know people who are in their twenties and thirties who love Superman and Spiderman, and people don't have a problem with it.

I'm 25, I love Power Rangers, and I never hear the ned of it from people.
I loved them ever since I was 13. They got me to want to join karate, and now I'm black belt; I can break blocks with my fists. I got into gymnastics because of them. I speak fluent Japanese because I took classes just to understand Super Sentai (the original Japanese Power Rangers). I'm also obsessed with Super Sentai now; I order all the DVDs from Japan.

I still want to do everything I see from Power Rangers. I never stopped with karate and gymnastics. I'm in way better shape than most 25 year olds. I tried, and got accepted to join stunt school this year.

Why are people 0K with people in their twenties and thirties liking DC and Marvel, but everyone thinks I'm weird for liking Power Rangers?

My dad's WAY older than 25- He likes Power Rangers. Same with my uncle. So you're not the only one who like Power Rangers. I have a black belt too.

Some people can't see past the "kids show" stigma. Well I wouldn't worry about them. It's odvious you have used your love for Power Rangers to expand your life (Karate, Gymnastics, another language) which is pretty cool. If people don't understand I wouldn't sweat it.

Wow, Power Rangers! I was obsessed with Power Rangers (the originals) in elementary school! I had all the sticker books, collected the cards and toys! Alpha 5, Rita, The Putties, Zordon! I use to live off that stuff. Everything changed though and they eventually weren't my Power Rangers anymore!

Bulk and Skull sure stuck around for a while though!

Superman and Spider-man are iconic American characters. Power Rangers is outside of that since it is Japanese. I used to watch Power Rangers, but not much anymore. Who cares what people think, I'm sure those people that make fun of you have some stuff that they are into that they are just afraid to admit for fear of being made fun of. Heck your a black belt, kick them in the nads!

I love Avatar the Last Airbender, Ben Ten, and pretty much any other cartoon with superhero characters and I'm 29, what you gonna do? People are who they are.

I guess the Power Rangers series are mostly aimed at kids, originally having been broadcast on the Fox network under the Fox Kids banner.

There's nothing wrong with liking them whatever age you may be. With Power Rangers:Operation Overdrive (their most recent TV series) it seems they've never lost their appeal.

Marvel and DC comic books I think, tend to have a more adult content in the stories they produce, nowadays. I grew up reading Spidey and the X Men and I'm well over 25 years old.

I'd like to say I've got a black belt too--it's currently holding my trousers up. lol

Many people probably jump to the conclusion that 25 year old guys pick up an interest in power rangers so they can have an exuse to pick up kids that like power rangers.

Maybe if you explain to people (just like you did for us) that you've liked the power rangers since you were little, they woudn't have so much of a problem with it.

And (I have no way of knowing for sure, so please don't be offended) just in case you ARE pretending an interest in power rangers to pick up kids, I hope you get caught soon.

Nothing personal, just in case.

Sounds like you're living the dream. Good luck in stunt school.

It's fine to like Power Rangers. I'm 24 and I love them, especially the older ones up until they became Zeo Rangers.
