Physical evidence seems to support many case histories, though some experiences may actually be caused by dreams, mental problems, media indoctrination, or misinterpretation of what the person has seen. All leave an imprint on the psyche of the person, or persons (multiple abductions involved). Most countries have reports of alien abductions. They occur in large cities as well as the rural areas.Abductions occur at any time of the day or night.People who have been abducted many times keep journals to determine patterns or timetables. They sometimes write books about their experiences. The abduction phenomenon is an umbrella term used to describe a number of hypotheses, claims or assertions stating that non-human creatures kidnap individuals, sometimes called abductees, usually for medical testing or for sexual reproduction procedures. Many such encounters are described as terrifying or humiliating, but others describe them as transformative or even pleasant. Reports of the abduction phenomenon have been made from around the world, but have perhaps seen most mainstream attention in the United States. Most abduction cases show these patterns:
Capture (Abductees taken from room/area and find themselves in the "ship")Examination (Probes inserted in different areas, etc.)
Communicate ("Aliens" speak with abductees)
Tour (Not always described but some abductees claim to be shown the ship)
Missing Time or Loss of Time (Many abductees suffer from periods of time removed from their memory, often coming back to them later)
Return (Returned, sometimes with environmental changes)
Aftermath (Sickness, new phobias, ridicule, etc.)
skeptics tend to doubt that the phenomenon occurs literally as reported, and a wide variety of alternate explanations have been proposed (see below). Rather, such skeptics often argue that the phenomenon might be characterized as a type of modern-day folk myth (like the historic belief in vampires). there is little doubt that many apparently stable and sincere persons report alien abductions they believe are utterly genuine: as reported in the Harvard University Gazette in 1992, Dr. John Edward Mack investigated over 60 claimed abductees, and "spent countless therapeutic hours with these individuals only to find that what struck him was the 'ordinariness' of the population, including a restaurant owner, several secretaries, a prison guard, college students, a university administrator, and several homemakers ... 'The majority of abductees do not appear to be deluded, confabulating, lying, self-dramatizing, or suffering from a clear mental illness,' he maintained. He has encountered only one person who showed psychotic features."

Aliens are the mythology of the day. Their appearance and activities mirror the fears of society. It's no coincidence they appeared right as we were developing a high-tech space program. It's no coincidence that they first just "contacted" humans, then they began "abducting" humans. For example, those with sleep paralysis/waking dreams used to see demons or witches, but since the culture has absorbed the idea of aliens now they're seeing space creatures. Recalled memory is complete bunk too.

Look into the work of Joe Nickel. He has done some great anthropological and sociological studies of the alien and UFO hysteria.

There are at least people that seriously believe they were abducted by aliens.

Interrupted Journey by John Fuller about the Betty & Barney Hill case is a decent read. They were abducted from their car.

Fire in the Sky the Travis Walton story (link below). He was abducted in the woods.

John Mack the now deceased Harvard psychiatrist did some research on this and became convinced that something was happening (link below).

However, since no aliens have come forward claiming credit it depends on if you accept the evidence (witness testimony mainly). I hope the links below help you decide for yourself.

These are some things to consider-
The prevalence of science and technology in our lives has transmuted our myths of gods and demons in ancient times to aliens, from mad wizards and witches to mad scientists, and so forth.
Where people of questionable intelligence or honesty used to say they saw a demon, they now say they saw an alien. Aliens fill the same basic void.
Then there's the size of the universe. Assuming they had mastered Faster than Light travel, how would they know where to look. There's nothing special about our star from 50,000 light years away. We've been broadcasting from Earth for maybe 80 years.
That's 80 years at the speed of light that those signals have been broadcasting.
iven the size of that claim, it's not up to skeptics to disprove anything. The question is-what do claimants bring othre than their say so?
And the answer to that question is nada! 0! zip!

Read Budd Hopkins book: Sight Unseen about transgenic beings with alleged cloaking abilities. These people may even have some type of time altering ability. This alleged ability has also been mentioned or could be interpreted from bible literature such as:"in the twinkling of an eye" and "the quick and the dead". Remember the movie special effects in X-Men and the Matrix. These abilities could be theoretically possible somewhere and by someone such as with Quantum Physics.

Dont have self belief that crap approximately aliens abducting human beings. our scientists understand okay that there is existence in area yet they wont make it primary to public for their very own motives. in fact, scientists are working with aliens. properly, if aliens abduct human beings, this is for experiments. now think of roughly listening to on the information that scientists abduct aliens, it sounds awkward, doesnt it? think of roughly all the outcomes it could have... a million. faith is fake on account that there is existence in different planets 2. without faith, there is no order 3. without order there is chaos ensuing in violence, drugs, rape. ...and the main needed: 4. without faith governments can not administration human beings.

I think some people have been abducted. I would suspect that if they have the ability to come to Earth, then they would have to ability to grab you without you knowing.

However, most abductions claims are just phony. People who use hypnotic regression to "recall" their ordeals is faulty. In such mental states, it is easy to implant these memories and experiences with suggestions directly or indirectly.

Given that these people use hypnotists that are believers of UFOs and stuff usually, I would imagine the hypnotists uses methods and questions that are biased to make them think they were abducted.

I heard of an illegal alien from Mexico taking someone from their house for ransom. So, it really does exist. I think they probably take their low rider to appear there.
