The child of a creature that was not yet a person. The child had a genetic mutation that had the spark that made her or him a 'person', so then that person likely mated with something not quite a person, but the mutation carried on and then so on until the mutation spread and spread and they were the persons that became us.

BIBLICALLY SPEAKING IT WAS ADAM MEANING RED EARTH BECAUSE GOD FORMED MAN FROM THE DUST OF THE EARTH.

That's pretty much impossible to know. If you want to rely on biblical mythology...then it was adam.
