It wont matter what Bush did or does people that hate him will bash any action he takes. Lets say he said nothing and then we were attacked. The same people ripping on him for creating false fear would be attacking him for not warning the public if he had some prior threat warning. Even after this warning if we are attacked, those same people will accuse him of staging the attack. And then if we arent warned and never attacked they will accuse Bush of inventing the terrorism from the start. And see if we are warned and then not attacked he will be accused of creating a wave of fear.
People that hate Bush dont care what he does. They will bash him for whatever he does even if a guy they do support would have taken the exact same actions they will still bash Bush for those actions.

An attack is always possible.
But I'm thinking it's the Muslims that should be worried.
One more 9/11 just might mark the "Religion of Peace" for the Final Solution.
Seriously, America's commitment has been half assed lately because the Dems are saying the GOP is just paranoid.
Prove the Dems wrong, and not only does the GOP take the next election, the Dems stop playing politics with the terror war.

Why worry?
Before you hit the thumbs down... think about it...
Why worry?
People are likely to make very bad decisions when they are in a state of panic... do you really want to panic our way into another awful presidency and 8 more years of the worst foreign relations ever?
I don't think anyone wants that... There are a couple of good candidates on both sides... But the bad ones are hoping that you view the good ones as "weak" so they can continue to manipulate you with fear campaigns. (all the while projecting themselves as your "knight in shining armor")
My advice to everyone on yahoo: think before you type.
Don't say things that are just malevolent rhetoric... use this board to REALLY find the answers to who you would like to vote for and how you feel about terrorism, the war, your civil liberties, your money (or lack of it), your health and also your morals and values.

If terrorists were really up to something, do you think anyone with intelligence is going to feel that it is in the best interest to cause panic?
Terrorists have been up to something every time election time starts to approach. Its the new fad in political campaigning.
not saying there is no terrorist threat, but if the officials warning about it were actually worried about it, our borders would have been secured.

I trust Osama Bin Laden more than my Government. drunken drivers kill 18 thousand people per year in America. we wouldn't flush the constitution down the toilet for them though would we. What a waste of Innocent life.. but there are limits on our reaction.. three thousand people is devastating but small compared to Dangers in America.. Murder rate 40 - 50 thousand per year. Makes those terrorists look like boy scouts. we have over reacted to terrorism, and we could have stopped 9/11 if the layers of CIA FBI had done there jobs.. Osama bin laden plans to attack with commercial airliners .. file was on Secretary Rices desk three months before the attack//.. and she got a promotion,, Bush is lame. my grandma could take out bin laden...

definite, I accept as true with what you're asserting and that i've got self assurance that this has been completed. we could no longer get the day without work yet i've got self assurance that that's now common as Patriot Day. yet regardless of having a acceptance for the day or having the day without work, i think of that each persons remembering the place we've been and how we felt on that day is a fashion we are able to all pay our respects to the victims, their families, and all human beings who have been effected by Sept 11.

We should have been ACTIVE way back after the 'attack' that the borders were left open allowing anyone to get in.
If someone was serious about security why would this obvious gateway be left open considering all the $$ H.Sec. and DOD gets?

There will only be another attack if it suits bush administration again?
How many times have FBI said there was likelyhood of attack being imminent?
Its a scare tactic, bush administration has used throughout its term.
Come on...you still have chenney and bush saying theres WMD's and making false claims against saddam that were never proven, but still they insist.
And what about all the claims about Al Queda in IRAQ, when its america who failed to neutralize Al queda in Afganistan that is the reaosn Al Queda in Iraq has grown so much.
Bush doesnt recall disbanding the Iraqi army.
But now we know its true.
This administration has done so much to mess this war on terrorism up, you really have to question if it was intentional all along.
But we all already know the answer to that.
Even those that support bush know the real answer to that question

Every year the same old BS, no.
We really have become cowardly. And even if they tried 19 dudes with box cutters or some other BS, it would not be another 9-11 type event.
