It's because they are expert at setting us against each other with distractive issues like religion, immigration, hatred of 'liberals', Muslims, etc. etc.

I don't think our government "serves" big business, but I believe the republicans tend to cater to business interests as a matter of policy. Whereas democrats tend to care more about people. The philosophy of the republican party is what ever enhances the opportunities for American businesses eventually helps the average person. The old Reagon "trickle down" theory. The democrats believe business should serve the people, not the other way around.

If you think that the government serves only big business, then you have to explain the federal budget. I know your type.

1. I know that you've never had even a single college-level econ class 2. I know that you've never looked at a single federal budget 3. I know that you'd never understand either 1. or 2. but would come up with a conspiracy theory why.
