i have search high and low for an african american movie. i don't remeber the name of it all i remeber is scenes so i hope you can help me. it's a part where a man shot a guy and the girl(black) was crying over the mans body and then cops came and chase her all the way home and her mom advice her to give up and go in cuffs while she was in prison she was pregnant for her boyfriend. while in prison she got beat up by a cop or correction officer and then sheask her boy friend if he still wants her those are the only parts that i remeber i really want to add this movie to my collection

the movie was in the 90's and there is a scene in the movie where the guy was escaping from cops and drive i thing it was a red car into the water

i think it is the land of the gods or something with god in it.... i think it is a comedy.
