LIke you saw something in the cards that you really didn't think would be wise to tell them??? So you just shut the whole reading down???

Yes I have started a reading and asked the person does anything fit with you and when they say no I ask them to reshuffle the cards and allow the cards to take more of their energy, other wise no matter what the reading is they are meant to know "I tell them" : )
Because sometimes they are thinking of someone else when they are shuffling the cards then the card reading comes out for that person they are thinking of, so with a reshuffle you gather more energy and the message is more clearer for the person you are doing the reading for : )
The cards are just a tool for guidance, it is then up to the persons to except or dismiss the reading

I have only refused to complete a reading when the person is unable to concentrate or is too flippant about the reading. I just tell them that if they aren't REALLY into the reading then the cards aren't going to say anything of relevance to them. Otherwise, no matter HOW bad the news found in the reading, I give it because that is what the person being read NEEDS to know to get past those events.

sorry but i don't do tarot :)
a couple of friends did some kind of tarot this summer when we were on a trip and it appear all kinds of troubles and bad luck and it kinda come true.
If i were doing tarot...and i would see something bad in the cards...like death...i would tell that person only if i know that he/she will not freak out! It has no sense to trouble a person with that.
