You could definately get pregnant from using the "pull-out" method. If you are going to have sex, you should use condoms every time, from the beginning of sexual contact. As for the answer that said the only things 100 percent effective are condoms and the pill, that's not correct. While the pill and condoms are both very effective, they are not 100 percent. The ONLY thing that is 100 percent is abstinance, but the pill and condoms are much closer than anything else. There is always a risk of pregnancy when having sex, but if you're going to do it, use birth control EVERY TIME!

Wait and see if you get your period. If it is a few days late, get a pregnancy test. Regardless of what some might say, you can get pregnant from pre-ejaculate fluids. I went to school for medical assisting, and have learned a lot. The chance of you getting pregnant that way is about 20-25%, which is much higher than using a condom or the pill. Here is an article from yahoo health on this subject.
Q:Can you get pregnant from pre-ejaculation fluid? How often does this happen?
A:
Yes, a woman can get pregnant even when ejaculation doesn't occur within the vagina. This is because pre-ejaculation fluid may contain some sperm.
Withdrawal of the penis from the vagina before ejaculation is one of the oldest methods of birth control. But fewer than 3 percent of adults in the United States use it as their primary method of contraception. The failure (pregnancy) rate is high. About 20 percent to 25 percent of women who rely on the withdrawal method become pregnant each year.
Good luck, take care of yourself.

Go to your local Planned Parenthood and get an emergency contraception ("morning after") pill. I think you have to go within 3-5 days of the intercourse however. And I believe the charge is 20.00
While you're there, ask for some condoms, they are free. And just so you know, the most concentration of sperm is in the 'pre-ejaculate' which is the clear stuff that comes out before the white stuff.
If you guys are using the 'pull out' method, you'll be parents sooner than you wanted. Guaranteed.
Get yourself on some birth control ASAP, and use a condom while you're at it.

Roxanna,
I sugest you get a home pregnancy test done or go to the health center in your area where they perform them for free. I got pregnant with my son using the pull out method. I.t is not 100% safe. The only things I know to be 100% safe are the pill and the condom. And the condom isn't 100% if it breaks but it does help protect from AIDS and other STDs. Go get that pregnancy test done so you can decide what to do from there. Hopefully everything will be negative. I've never heard of it called a hotdog goes to show you how old I am. Try getting on some type of birth control. The last thing that you want is an unwanted/unexpected pregnancy. I know everybody isnt in favor for condoms when their in a relationship but would it be easier to slip on one or take care of a baby for 18 yrs? Talk to your hunny and call the health department for birth control bc playing russian roulette aint fun and most of the time your bound to get burned. And besides dont only think about pregnanacy think about all the stds your risking at getting. Your man may be faithful but you never know what may happen.

If it was just "the other day" then what makes you think you could be pregnant now? You need to see if you miss a period first, and yes you can get pregnant from his ejaculate being on you vagina but you need to wait until you have missed a period before you get to worried.
Now i'm gonna yell at ya WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD YOU NOT USE A CONDON??? IF YOU DONT WANT TO HAVE KIDS THEN USE PROTECTION!!!

the pull out method is very very in-affective..the man releases pre- *** through out the sex act and it contains sperm so even if he pulled all the way out before he orgasms you could still get pregnant...start using condoms and the pill or abstain from sex if you don't want kid's
