I'd like to think that she's not, but it's not looking good!

Sad to say, but, the statistics say that abducted children who are not located within 24-hours are not likely to be found alive. It's a horrible, horrible thing to have absolutely no answers as to what happened to your child. I heard on the news today that the Portuguese police have stated that the parents are now official suspects. No way do I believe that parents who killed their child would stay in a foreign land for 4 months passing out fliers and doing interviews continuously. This is just one more tragedy for these parents. Yes, they made a mistake in leaving their sleeping children unattended- but, I don't think there is a parent out there who hasn't made some kind of judgment error, that, thankfully, did not result in the disappearance of their child. I hope that their little girl is found- either way- so these parents can have some peace.

To their horror, concerned British and European parents are discovering what American parents since the days of the Lindbergh baby kidnapping have known: Never leave a young child unattended.

FBI statistics also show that the first 48 hours of a search are crucial. The less time that has elapsed after the child has gone missing, the better chance for his or her recovery. The Elizabeth Smarts are very few and far between.

I'm sorry to say that I think she is deceased. I just have a feeling that she will never be found alive.

I think this case is going to turn out like that little beauty pagent queen that was found dead ( sorry know her name can't spell it) and the dingo took my baby case where they will look into the parents but nothing will be proved. I hope she isn't dead but as you said it is not looking good.
