c. 1474 CE - 'Recuyell of the Historyes of Troye'
(A translation of the French book that came out in 1464, and was translated into English and published by William Caxton.)

c. 1514 CE - 'Little Commentary'
(This book, hand written -not printed, is the book in which Nicolaus Copernicus set out the theory of a universe with a sun at its centre.)

Books from that period or books concerning that period? From that period, I can give you a couple of cookbooks from the 19th century. "Early American Cookery "The Good Houskeeper," 1841" by Sarah Josepha Hale and "The American Frugal Housewife" by Lydia Maria Child (first published 1828, 12th edition publised either 1832 or 1833). Both are a bit more than most cookbooks being published today. Both include a section on health. You can also find things on hiring a cook, why folks fall on hard times, how to deal with life in poverty, furniture, hints to housekeepers, hints to mothers, and household economy.

Concerning the period, it will only cover 1800-1877 in your period but try Marc McCutcheon's "Everyday Life in the 1800s." It's got chapters on things like clothes and fashion, jobs, getting married, etc.
