It's so small. Is there a way to normally eject it? or must it be done by a device that my phone company possesses?

Take off the back cover then take out the battery, then slide the card out.

With any phone that has a sim card, you can manually remove the sim card by hand. Just remove the back cover of the phone and also remove the battery. There should be a latch slide lock close to the sim card. You slide the latch and then you can take the sim card out of the phone.
