Trying to use westing house 47 inch monitor as tv but dont wanna run it through comp and i dont wanna run it through cable box just straight from wall to monitor

47 inch monitor?? Wow. No, there is no VGA 2 coaxial adapter. A monitor that big should have come with some other input besides just VGA, maybe s-video or DVI or RCA?

If it just has VGA input, then you're stuck with going through a computer using a video card with TV-in capabilities.
