You need to reinstall your drivers. Make sure you get the desktop system software, the chipset and the audio drivers. Go into bios, if you have onboard sound, make sure it is enabled. If you have a seperate sound card make sure onboard sound is disabled

go to the manufacturers website for your computers motherboard and on there you can download the sound driver for it. good luck!
