I will be amazed if you get a detailed answer to your questions here.. Anyway, I worked in a copper smelter in Mexico around 10 years ago, the production cost used to be around $0.60 dollars per pound. the ore was sulfide and the process included crushing, grinding,froth flotation, drying, smelting, conversion refining and casting. However I remember that production cost varied significantly with the labor cost, price of oil, ore grade and many other things. If you are seriously interested perhaps the following book may help you:
