I've seen people respond to other peoples responses and they say duh I know what it means but don't you think they sound like even more of like retard when they say duh?

If that's the only thing that comes to mind when I read the question, I just move on. It seems kind of insulting to do that and I don't like to insult people. I believe if you can't say something nice then don't say nothing at all.
