He has won 3 French Opens and reached 2 Wimbledon finals. How does that make him a "one trick pony"? He has also beaten Federer 8 out of 13 times. Nadal is great for the sport of tennis.

using fact he would not could be large on different surfaces to triumph over Federer and Djokovic? If this one trick pony is thrashing them at Wimbledon and the U. S. open and stressful courts even some situations then they should not be that good or large in spite of everything. So, with a bit of luck extra efficient combatants will come alongside to improve his activity on those different surfaces so he improves on his paltry 4 grand slams on those non clay surfaces. That aside, Djokovic on modern-day kind has a superb opportunity to win the French.

We should not even be answering this question....

No one who is playing in any grand slam tourneyment whether they are a qualifier or a major contender is more than a 1 trick pony...

People who can make a living playing this sport whether they win or not are some of the most amazing athletes we will ever see....

People are so unforgiving and judgemental....dang! This man has made it to the finals in 3 of 4 major tourneyments this year. One trick poney....hmph!

Nonsense! You do not get to be number 2 being a "one trick pony". He is a big plus for a sport watch him play Federer: Battle of the cultures, on one side, introverted, well oiled machine vs extroverted, spontaneous artist! Can it get any better? He is fun to watch!
His type of play is tough on the body and that might be his demise.

How can you say that?At such a tender age Rafa has achieved what very few players have.Federrer hasn't won so many tournaments when he was Rafa's age.
Nadal is phenomenon and he's having a hard time now because he's seriously injured.Once he recovers he'd be more stunning than ever!!!
That's my respond to your statement:

Totally. I also cringe when I see people here who think he is the best player ever. If he keeps it up he will be gone in a few years. He is a tenacious player with lots of heart but he fades outside of The French. Yadda Yadda Yadda, about this year's Wimbledon, close means nothing, he lost.He need to rethink his schedule next season, so he remains fit after Wimbledon.

AGREED. Rafa is a one-time phony. He's only good in clay just like Gustavo Kuerten. He'll soon fade away...

Bye bye RAFA... Hello NOVAK!!!
