there are more talented players now then before, also teams cant have tons of scholarship players anymore. This means more good players, better disbursed. personally I like it, you now cant over look that "cupcake" team, it might just bite you on the ***, just ask Michigan!

There's powers, they're: USC, LSU, Oklahoma, Florida, Boston College, Georgia Tech, Clemson, and Penn State (could add a few, who knows). They seem like the best so far, and there's middling teams (who could move up or down), like: Cal, UCLA, South Carolina, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Texas, Nebraska, Florida State, Arkansas, Washington, Oregon, etc. Then there's dissappointments: Michigan, Notre Dame, Auburn, Tennessee, Georgia, Wake Forest, Boise State, Hawaii, etc.
And then there's the rest.

It's because of "Spread Offense" That non Big-10 teams are using to take care of the "BIG DOGS"
Example: Michigan, Defense: Big, great on teams that pass with 2 receivers.
Spread Offense: Oregon/App state, 3-4 receivers, running back, mobile QB
Result: Two embarrassing losses at home, the "Spread Offense" stretches out a defense to the point where you got to remember this aren't yet NFL players, so I believe anything could happen now.

What the heck is going on?
Answer: Competition
No longer are "BIG Name" schools able to pack in the scholarships and go three deep with All-American Players, just to keep kids off of the rosters of the other schools in their conference like they used to do in the old days. Now you have to win with real skills like good coaching and execution, instead of steamrolling teams with lesser talent. I think it's great when teams who aren't "supposed" to win, actually win. But then again, I don't gamble on sports, so I can just enjoy the play and not worry about the "supposed to".

Wisconsin in a dog fight with UNLV (With a Freshman Quarterback in only his SECOND game!!!) who just won only one game last year could only win by one touchdown and had to come from behind to do it !! Wow !!!!!!!!!! Michigan getting blown out by Oregon. Big Ten is not only way overrated but probably the worst division in College football. How pathetic !!!!!!!
The PAC - 10 is looking more and more like the best division in college football...

I'm not a college fan, but I find this series of events interesting.
Hopefully the entire SEC goes 500 and Underdogs take the championships of the rest of the conferences.
I don't like power houses, I like crap that is unexpected.

This season has been pretty interesting. It seems like there are a lot of good teams this year and the talent seems pretty even. I don't think the ranked teams even mean that much this season. A lot of things are happening.
