Can I use my XBox Live 3 month subsc./trial with my XBox 360?

I have had the XBox Live 3 month subscription or trial so I can get online with my old XBox 1, but never hooked it up. I now have a 360 and I'd like to get online. Can I still do it with my 360? I searched already for answers but they are sorta vague. Thanks everyone.

try it by redeeming a code in xbox 360 dashboard and enter the code then if it works you will have xbox live
