What kind of envelope should I mail a paperback book in? Can you get them at the post office or somewhere else? How much do they usually cost?

The bubble envelope. You can buy one at the drugstore for around $1.

Plus if you're mailing a book and you want to go cheap and it doesn't matter how long, ask at the post office to send it media mail. It will take about a week of two to get where it's going, but it's about half the price.

I'd use the bubble lined envelopes if you want to protect it a little. You can get a pack of them at Office Depot or Staples - they'll cost you around $8-$14 for a pack of 12, depending on what size you need. For a paperback, the smaller size would work.

Check the post office too - they have lots of mailing supplies for sale, and might have them.
