I usually don't get exhausted but my preferred spread is just four cards, a kind of "snapshot" of an issue the asker needs to know or deal with. I used to do these readings at the metaphysical store I was working in and dubbed them "Two Minute Tarot---Two Minutes, Two Dollars, Too Bad". It is very direct in the information it gives and makes clear the idea that the asker has the power to alter the outcome. For people who are new to having tarot readings, the Celtic cross can contain too much information to assimilate and digest easily. But the short reading usually gave the asker an opportunity to discuss his recognition of the issue and work through in his mind how to proceed.

It depends. I find most readings energizing and when I was working at Rock-a-tiki, there'd be times when I'd do a dozen or more, one right after the other. As long as the server kept bringing me sodas, I was fine.
Then there are the people who ask the same questions over and over, and--no matter how you phrase the answer, they still don't get it. I need a break after every one of those.
Like I told a lot of customers who asked." I work in a nightclub, I get free drinks, I'm my own boss, my work uniform is an Hawaiian shirt and bandana headband and several times a night I spend 10 or 15 minutes gazing into the eyes of a beautiful woman while she hangs on my every word and she pays me for it. If that ever gets tiresome, I might as well die."

I've been reading for 35 years or so and when I was younger I was able to do about 9 or 10 in a row without taking a break. NOW, I find that I need a short break after only 3 or 4, just to recharge my batteries.

When I was younger I could read for hours on end and without problems. But, now I try to limit myself to 3 - 4 readings, and then take a break. I think that as I have gotten older, I find that I put more of myself into the readings.

I don't really know depending of the number of people that visit me and are interested around 3 to 4 with Guidance from Spirit or the people and how I am feeling at the time
I don't charge money for readings it is against my Spiritual Beliefs to charge
I only do readings for Family and Friends in need of Guidance : )

I never do more than 3 or four in a sitting. I know others that can sit and do it for hours, but not me.

I don't know, I've never gone as long as I could go. Or I just haven't noticed. Knowing me, probably the 2nd option.
