Here is how I see it. Xbox is superior in all aspects, and is cheaper, so then I should buy it, right...? Well that seems simple enough but theres a big issue. The "Red Circle of Death”. I've read a lot of reviews, and comparisons and for the ps3, people are satisfied, and rarely does the ps3 break down. But with the xbox360 it seems half the reviews are ones complaining of this problem. I read somewhere that 9/100 have this problem but it seems like 50/100. So what should I do??? It seems stupid to buy something that is so inferior (based on reviews, videos I've seen etc...) but how can I buy the 360 if Its gonna break down...

...If you have experience with either, or if you own either please give me your opinion. Feel free to disagree that the 360 is better, but it will be to avail as you wont get 10 points and I wont believe you :) Thank you in advance.

i have both but if i was to buy another one i would go with 360 just cause most multi platform games will look better on it cause the PS3 has such complicated programing that developers dont wanna spend the time and money on it to make it look better than 360 better line up of games expected excellent online and wait until the end of fall cause they are updating the hardware in the 360 so the ring of death BS shouldent happen

I personally think the XBox 360 is a better console. I got the red ring of death, and it isn't something you need to worry about. Microsoft is now offering a 3 year warranty from the date you purchase the console, meaning you're protected for 3 years! They will repair your console, or, if they can't, replace it. You don't lose save games, etc., as you keep the hard drive. You can also purchase another year of warranty for I think $29.99 a year. I am hearing a number of overheating issues for the PS3 as well...

Hope this helps.

I heard that the Xbox 360 melts down your discs, and it the same thing as the Xbox. The only differences is that the Xbox 360 has better graphics. Plus the Xbox 360 goes down really slow.

I haven't learn much about the PS3. But I have been hearing that it's awesome.

man get the ps3, more potential, higher quality hardware....

plus the ps3 has a built in blu-ray player, which would alone cost you at least 400 to 500 bucks, in other words, more bang for the buck

now look at xbox, its gonna cost you more than the ps3 by the time you get their crappy @ss hd-dvd player, and pay for the x-box live service (play station home is free)
