No, but my grandmother once filled her sugar bowl with laundry detergent. She always kept them both in tupperware containers under her sink.

Yes, at an old-fashioned diner where the dispensers are the old glass kind.
Since I had to do something with the sugar, I figured I might as well put it into the salt shaker.
Neither seemed to suffer any trauma by switching homes. I don't know about the next people to sit at the booth, however.

one time, my brother was like "try this really awesome sugar," so i tried it and really liked it, and then he was like "here is some more," and i thought it was sugar, but it was actually salt, nd i was like 5 years old, so i started spitting it out in the parking lot and making a big deal about the horrible taste.

No but I did pour the whole salt shaker into my boyfriend's drink. He didn't really notice the difference until he got toward the bottom

Yes. And good God, I put the sugar into my coffee and I always tale extra cream extra sugar, it was a disaster

no but i ordered a beer at a resturant once with a mug with salt on the rim and when i went to take my big gulp it was sugar on the rim!! ewww nasty!
