I've wished upon a star with mixed results.

YES! When my now HB and I were dating we were sitting outside and saw some shooting stars. We both made a wish that one day we would be married. We did not tell each other our wish until years later when he proposed to me.
I thought about engraving our wedding bands with "when you wish upon a star" on one, "your dreams come true" on the other. Our wedding song was " Keeper of the Stars".

I tip my hat to the keeper of the stars
He sure knew what he was doin'
When he joined these two hearts
I hold everything
When I hold you in my arms
I've got all I'll ever need
Thanks to the keeper of the stars
I would have to say I will remember that night forever. We have now been married for 6 1/2 yrs.

Of course I do. Star Light, Star Bright, First Star I see tonight. I wish I may, I wish I might, have the wish I wish tonight!!!! I personally cannot recall anything I ever wished for or if it ever came true. But...knowing me I wouldn't have done it a second time if I hadn't gotten positive results the first!!!

I've wished on a star as well as prayed many times. Not once did it come true.

Many wishes upon many stars over several decades. Yes, some of the best ones have come to fruition.

I believe just one came true. I was really afraid to get a particular teacher in school and I wished for the one I wanted and my wish came true. I guess I really didn't want the other teacher to waste a shooting start on something like that.
all of the other things I wish for never came true.

I have, in arizona in the middle of August. oh goodness it was soo beautiful the sky at night, completely covered with stars, several flying across the sky, the stars dazzled in my head, it was so pretty, that i filmed the sky : )
I made a wish and it unfortunately did not come true : (

Just last night, as a matter of fact. I was letting my puppies out to go pee and when I looked up, there was one very bright, twinkling star that caught my attention ... so, I decided to make a wish. I'll just have to wait and see .... if my wish comes true. :)

Of course I have, and some of them came true. There's an old superstition that if you count 9 stars 9 nights in a row, the next boy who shakes your hand will be your "beau".

Many times. I'd say 50% of the wishes came true.
