I just got kicked out of one of the casinos here in Reno. A group of young men (early 20s) at the buffet were being loud and swearing a lot, When the waitress asked them to please hold it down, one of them called her a bitc* and to get lost. Like a fool I walked over and told them that their language was offensive to those around them and the waitress didn't need that kind of hasstle. One of them jumped up and told me to "fuc* off or he'd kick my broke down old *** out the door, then he shoved me. When security pulled me off him they asked me, and them to leave. I was told not to come back for at least a week. (I'll be gone tomorrow night) The group felt they were being picked on and were quiet vocal about it.
Where do people get the idea they can publicly use that kind of language and make everyone around them uncomfortabe and it's okay.

RPS: By just about any definition, I'm old, but NOT dead.
Hitman: Yup, some serious butt got kicked, so did a nose, two of them in fact. (one of the other clowns jumped in)
My damage is minimal, but it's going to be painful come morning.

Rudeness has sadly become a way of life for many of today's youngsters - if they are old enough to be in a casino then they are old enough to know better.

EDIT: I hope the pain is minimal today.

Anymore, kids don't seem to respect themselves let alone another person. The poor people in the service industry will attest to that I'm sure.
Oh yes, there are still those few that observe the courtesies but they're a dying breed.
I'm sure there will be a funeral service for basic courtesy and respect. I Just hope I'm dead by then.

I would of been right beside you on that one. Your not alone on this issue. I think that the younger generation is loosing alot of respect for elders and just in general. Not saying your old of course. You go walking at a store and kids just walk out in front of you in the street and inside. Bump into you and not say anything. For me the question would be. Who's at fault the parents or society. They don't care bout being loud and using profanity, to them its being cool. Being center of attention. Thats just what I think. Take care.

The young people that act that way have no respect for them self much less any one else.. I was raised to respect my elders and the kids today do not grow up with that even taught to them any more..so just go figure..I can't stand that kind of people....

Sounds like a normal Saturday night at the dance to me LOL
I know what you mean, people today seem to ignore what they are doing to people around them, It's like they think they own the world and don't have to answer to anyone.

It's not completely dead but unfortunately there are a lot of ignorant and disrespectful people out there like the ones you encountered.
