You have to be kidding me. Of coarse there is. that skeptic that was on that show revolves around one little theory, and can never open his mind towards other evidence. Coming from a ufo researcher there are tons of evidence (not concrete) that proves that one 1)our gov has kept this secret too long 2) ufo sightings are mostly explained but some are not and those that are not are sometimes laughed at or ridiculed for believing that maybe , just maybe there may be life in space. 3)coverups- starting with the biggest, roswell, there are high rank officials giving death bed confessions that say there are recovered alien bodies and some ufo sightings are actually reverse engineered spacecraft recovered from crashes. if you can't believe them, then who can you believe, sure hell the pentagon is not going to admitt it so who else do you believe. Look my main point here is simple if you look at ufo history dating back from the 1897 aurora crash until now we have come a long way into explaining what those saucers are. oh and one more thing. sumerian and ancient cultures have texts which describe astronauts 2000 years ago!!!. make your own conclusion.

I believe in the possibility of life on other planets. The universe is just too huge of a place for there NOT to be.
UFOs are debatable. Have you noticed that now that everyone has a cell phone camera we haven't seen any recent pictures of UFOs? I wish I thought of that; but I have to give the credit to Jay Leno of the Tonight Show.
If you go the incredible distance to visit another race then are you going to make strange crop circles, or visit people out in the sticks and perform weird dances in front of them. Are you going to abduct people and experiment on them then release them so they can tell other people about it? Do you really think that aliens are that stupid?
On Star Trek they have the Prime Directive where they won't interfere or reveal themselves to a society that hasn't developed warp drive on their own. That sounds like something a responsible and mature society would use as a rule. It would take such a maturity for a civilization to reach the point where it can develop space travel.
Of course if we just started traveling to other planets and found a new alien race what would we do? We would abduct a person, probably recently dead from a battle zone, and study them--experiment on them. Why cause panic when you don't have to.
If they are smart enough to reach our planet then aliens should be smart enough to behave responsibly. Of course in the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy aliens came to earth to moon people and do other strange thinks for the kicks of it. You can never tell what the motivations of an alien race will be; that's why they are alien.
Oh, we can't try to hide ourselves from alien civilizations and we shouldn't worry about giving away contact information our radio and television signals have been broadcasting our position since the 1930s which means they will have reached a radius of over 60 light years. Clearly no alien race, that uses radio, is within 30 light years of us or they would have sent a hello signal by now.
Our history with contacting beings of lesser intelligence hasn’t been too good. Look at how the Africans were treated, the North American Natives, and the aborigines of Australia. If you had a history like that you would think twice before contacting and possibly messing up an alien civilization. I hope we will when we get the ability to travel across the universe.

you have posed a good question. I have studied these things extensively for a long time. There are no absolutes about them. Anything you think is true is contridicted by something else.
The fact is, we have pieces of UFOs and we have some sort of intact ones. While I can't prove any of this, there is a lot of paperwork that hints at it. The FBI has one, bet that is new to you. Also, i think it is the DOE has 6 corpses of different species in study.
While I do not believe there is any evidence to support them being extra-terrestrial, even given the star charts they have shown to people which could not be verified in one case for about 12 years, I do believe there is overwhelming evidence they are intradimensional in nature, and not interested in anything good.
People who have real life encounters with them, never recover, and never have normal lives again.

Have some fun with the Drake Equation, which Carl Sagan made popular. It estimates the number of intelligent civilizations in the universe. Plug in the values that you feel are appropriate. It asks questions like, "Rate of formation of suitable stars in our galaxy (aggregate number)?" You select a number and plug it in and the Java program does the rest and estimates intelligent life civilizations.

the universe is so enormous that the only thing we know as of now is that we know very little about it. :)
there could've been another world apart from our own at the other side of the universe. if that would be true, we might be getting farther away or nearer to each other as time goes by.
as of now, based on scientific studies the probability of life outside our earth is very low..however, if you'd asked me that study is just an approximation of the little area of the universe they've considered.
in short, i do believe they exist..even in other life forms, perhaps.
