Does it get you really angry that being a rocker is now "in"? Now teens run around with AC/DC, Led Zep and Floyd T Shirts cause it's now "cool" to do that. Stores like Forever 21 and Strawberry now sell Stones T-shirts.
And none of them really care about the music, it's all about the image. I've asked people who wear Floyd T's "What's your favorite Floyd song?" and they responded with "The Wall" Geez! That's not even a song, it's an album.
It seems that rock is "in", not the music, just the image. Anyone else really pissed at that?

yeah. it really annoys me that some people would wear che guevarra shirts when they don't even know what he represents or worse, they don't even know who the guy is! same with music, people wear these rolling stones shirts and they don't even know the band. i'm not against anything..everyboady can wear what they want. it's just that when people strut their stuff but don't know what they're strutting about is really getting into me..

Yeah I get really mad that I see like 50 people wearing Rolling Stones shirts at my school yet they cannot name 3 songs. Floyd is a little out there for my school but the Led Zep annoys me a lot. Probably the worst is the Grateful Dead T-shirts the girls who wear them don't even know the name of the band they just think it looks cool. But, If I see someone wearing like a more obscure artist I am loads happy.

It does annoy me. They wear those shirts, and when you talk to them about music, they're naming bands like Fallout Boy and everything. I'm more of a metal person myself, and it's really hard for me to find a girl that I can talk about metal with. It's really sad that it's seen as cool now. I don't like saying what people can and can't wear, but it sucks for the people who actually love the music and the band. When you get really emotional from your favorite band or song, and someone flashes the name around to try and look cool, it's gonna make you mad.

It doesn't really bother me....but I'm older. It would have bothered me as a teen. But now I think that you can appreciate artwork for artwork's sake. Or, you can like the image something projects without knowing a lot of the music. Hopefully, all these clothes will get more people into GOOD music!!

It is unfortunate clueless kids walk about w/ classic rock jersey shirts--and can't name any of the rock anthems that made these bands.

Trend setting is akin to dropping a match on a gas soaked dry forest: All a trend setting organized group of teens has to do is denounce today's cRAPola talentless music---and EXPOSE the impressionable minds to the pure classic rock sound.

Put the right social pressure at the right time in the right place....and you might just see an respected retro-return of REAL ROCK N' ROLL.

Here's praying for it's return--and the death of alternative rock and rap!!!

Hey - every generation has it's thing.
I remember when I was a teenager it was all Jim Beam & Jack Daniels t-shirts - which I hate the taste of, but 'wanted to look cool', Ford Cortina's, Doc Martin boots, - girls wouldn't even dream of straightening their hair - or do anything to it for that matter -
Also - anything with a marijuana leaf was cool - I didn't mind the taste of that so much though, LOL.

Not everything you wear has to make a statement about who you are on the inside.

yeah it bothers me.. i was born and raised on that music.. and i own pink floyd, led zeppelin, and ac/dc shirts.. but when asked about them i can name the band members, albums, songs, etc.. i think trying to put up a false image is stupid.. if you're not into a band then don't buy and wear their merchandise.. it makes you look stupid and fake..
