a girl i dated a long time ago used to have that happen and she got checked for everything under the sun to make sure it wasnt an std, in the end they were just what you described they were, just boils, some people get them, she stopped having them after a while i think stress really contributed to it and diet, if you are eating things you are allergic to or your body doesnt like it can cause boils.......oh and by the way this sounds NOTHING like herpes, its so annoying that people just jump straight to that , herpes wouldnt come around one or two at a time every month herpes is a big out break usually and not that often, people really need to stop trying to scare people by telling them they have an std sheesh.it doesnt sound like any std i know of and i know a good deal about stds.

Are they full of pus? Or just clear liquid? Do they hurt and get very red? How large are they? There are a few possibilities. One is just ingrown hairs, which form a small pimple over the hair follicle. These are definitely worse with shaving and can be prevented by exfoliating well in the shower every day and using a good shave cream. Something else could be an inflammatory condition called hidradenitis. These are large, pus-filled boils that form in the groin area and are localized infections. This is something genetic and can be very uncomfortable.

If it's directly in the area you are shaving I would think you are getting an ingrown hair. These resemble a boil sometimes just not so hot, miserable and ful of pus. Try to use a very sharp blad, or wax instead. If it's not from shaving, maybe you are perspiring and if you aren't wear cotton panel underwear you could get a heat rash type sore. So look in those directions and you should get them to stop. Best of luck to you!

If you burst them, the pus and stuff can also go inside you on the other side of your skin. Why do you have to shave there?

You need to ask your doctor. It could be herpes. They could be something like ingrown hairs or something if they are related to shaving. It's hard to tell.
