I have PCOS and have not had a period in about a year.I have always had problems with irregluar periods. I have sexual intercourse on a regular basis with my fiance. Lately, I have been more tired, sick to my stomach, have swelling in my feet, and weird cravings. I have all of the symptoms you could have being pregnant, but am not sure if this could be possible since I have not had a period. I have not done an at home pregnancy test. I know I should, but, I have done many many many in the past at times when I thought I was pregnant, only for it to come up negative and lose a bunch of money.

It's possible, but doubtful. It would have taken you guys having sex at the time you were ovulating. For normal people, this means they have a 10% chance each month AT MOST. For us, this means a 2.5% chance (comparing a period every month to every 4 months). Again, at most.

Wait a week and do a dollar store pregnancy test. They work as well as the expensive ones- just not in the very early stages.

Girlie.... get your buns to the store!... LOL! No but seriously, if you are polycystic it is important for you to find out as soon as possible because we "polly's" have a very high risk of miscarriage. It is imperrative that you get this test and if you ARE prego, schedule an appointment to meet with your doc right away. Remember, we tend to miscarry in the first 18 weeks and there are very important vitamins you need to take if this pregnancy is important to you... For all you know, your doctor may have a special prenatal regimen just for future mommies like you with PCOS. The sooner the better bebs.... time is a tickin'... get your butt to the store you should be excited...

Oh yea one more thing.... why are younot getting your period?! I'd hope if your doc told you that you had PCOS that he's suggest something to get your cycle on trac.... You need to be put on Metformin 500mg for MANY reasons.
Because you are polycystic, you are at high risk of heart disease and diabetes (do you wanna have to start stickin' needles in your arms any time soon?) You have a 70% greater risk of developing diabetes then an average woman because of PCOS because PCOS causes insulin resistance. Insulin resistance also plays a large factor in miscarriage. But remember, with Metformin your body becomes more fertile sometimes ever resulting in multiple births. If you are NOT pregnant and want to avoid becoming pregnant talk to your doc about birth control; that will also help you ovulate regularly.

Lots of people get pregnant without having regular periods. Ive even heard stories of women going without a period for 8 months and then they find out they're 2 months along in pregnancy. Its a long shot though
Go to a dollar store like the Dollar Tree and pick up a couple tests from there. Theyve always been really accurate for me!
